Here are the details: The Marvelous Wonderettes by Roger Bean, directed by Robin Ann Page, music directed by Greg Engell Auditions: May 4 & 5 at 6:30 PM (Callbacks May 6, if needed) Theatre 98, 350 Morphy Avenue, Fairhope, AL We're looking for females who can play 18-30, with strong solo voices and confident harmonies! Prepare 16 bars of a 1950s-60s style song, bring sheet music or an instrumental track, and get ready for cold reads from the script. Accompanist provided. Let's make some vintage magic together!     Meet the Cast of Rumors! Byron Ammons (Glenn Coop Meet the Cast of Rumors! Byron Ammons (Glenn Cooper) is thrilled to make his acting debut in Theatre 98’s production of Rumors. Currently, he works as a salon consultant for a local professional beauty product supplier. He holds a master’s degree in communication from the University of South Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Troy University, where he also studied English. In his free time, Byron enjoys a variety of crafts, beach trips, and time spent at home with his cats, Percy and Galahad.
    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Michael Bankston (Ken G Meet the Cast of Rumors! Michael Bankston (Ken Gorman) is delighted to return to the Theatre 98 stage in Rumors! Most recently seen as Bryce Cannon in Four Weddings and an Elvis, Michael has been a part of the Fairhope theater community for over 14 years, with performances spanning Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre and Theatre 98. When not in the spotlight, he cherishes time with his lovely wife Shannon, and two AUsome sons Brackin and Evans.
    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Keller Bozeman (Officer Meet the Cast of Rumors! Keller Bozeman (Officer Welch) is looking forward to ruining everyone’s evening as Officer Welch in Rumors! You may have seen him previously as Fist in Four Weddings and an Elvis here at Theatre 98 or maybe as the Monster in Young Frankenstein at Joe Jefferson Playhouse (JJP). Regardless, Keller feels lucky to be in a production with such a wonderful cast and crew. “Enjoy the show!”
    Meet the Cast for Rumors! Heather Delker (Cookie Meet the Cast for Rumors! Heather Delker (Cookie Cusack) is a native of Kentucky. She has a B.A. in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. Acting credits at Theatre 98 include Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Celeste in Into The Breeches!, Sorel in Death by Design, and Vincent in Inventing Van Gogh. In addition to acting, she has directed, procured props, and has had a hand in painting many stage floor designs here, including this one for Rumors
    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Richard Foster (Ernie Cu Meet the Cast of Rumors! Richard Foster (Ernie Cusack) is a dialysis nurse by day. Most recently, Richard directed Dial M for Murder for Theatre 98 and Cinderella at JJP. Past roles include Michael in For Peter Pan on her 70th Birthday, Stuart in Into the Breeches!, Eric in Death by Design, Uncle Louie in Lost in Yonkers, Dr.Carrel, et al in Flight, and Walter Flood in Becky’s New Car at Theatre 98. He also directed Godspell and Steel Magnolias for Theatre 98. Other roles include John Hinckley in Assassins and George in The Pot at Mobile Theatre Guild, Henry Ford in Ragtime and Boris Kolenkov in You Can’t Take It With You at JJP. “These performances are dedicated to the memory of my momma and daddy, who were my biggest fans!”
    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Meghan Lyles (Cassie Coo Meet the Cast of Rumors! Meghan Lyles (Cassie Cooper) is thrilled to be back for her fifth show with Theatre 98. Meghan has been acting most of her life and has always thoroughly enjoyed performing. Some of her favorite past credits include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Jill in Butterflies are Free, and Haley Gilmore in Gloria’s Old Haunt. You may have also spotted Meghan backstage last season, when she Stage Managed Bonnie and Clyde. While Meghan is not onstage, you can find her teaching preschool, and performing as a party princess.

    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Reagan McDowell (Chris G Meet the Cast of Rumors! Reagan McDowell (Chris Gorman) is honored to be among such great talent for her sixth show at Theatre 98. She was most recently M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, and prior credits include Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Miss Casewell in The Mousetrap, and Gert in Lost in Yonkers. She is trying her hand at comedy (though her favorite characters to play are serious roles/villains), and she wants you to know the role of the frazzled and sarcastic “Chris” in this show was quite easy, as she was only being herself.     Meet the cast of Rumors! Lily Pintarelli (Officer Meet the cast of Rumors! Lily Pintarelli (Officer Pudney) is so excited to be back for a second time at Theatre 98. She last performed as Producer in Four Weddings and an Elvis. Loving the environment and experience so much, she was very happy to come for another round! Lily has always had a love for film and acting, she cannot wait to continue to learn and grow! Come support the local arts with a feel good classic!

    It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dug Frederick, our beloved set construction manager, patron, and dear friend to all at Theatre 98. Dug passed away on Saturday, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to our theatre family. Whether he was building sets with incredible precision or offering a warm smile and helping hand backstage, Dug’s presence brought comfort and strength to every production. He helped create some of the most memorable sets Theatre 98 ever had. His behind-the-scenes work made the magic onstage possible. Dug was also the devoted husband of Lia Frederick, a cornerstone of Theatre 98 in her own right. Our love and deepest condolences go out to Lia and their entire family during this difficult time. We will miss Dug more than words can express. His spirit will always be a part of our stage, our hearts, and our community.

    Meet the Cast of Rumors! Jennifer Walker (Claire Meet the Cast of Rumors! Jennifer Walker (Claire Ganz) is a physician who lives in Fairhope with her husband and two daughters. Her most recent role at Theatre 98 was Margot in Dial M for Murder. Interestingly, the roles of Claire and Lenny that she and her husband are playing in this performance were also played by a real husband and wife in the original Broadway production of Rumors. Rumors opens April 25th!
